Unimicron, subordinate to UMC, will invest $800 million in manufacturing PCB, and its PCB project ranks first in the PCB field all over the world. This is the first time that Unimicron makes investment in Mainland China. It will establish a plant in Liangjiang New Area Industrial Development Zone to manufacture high-end PCB, and its output value is expected to reach 5 billion yuan.
